NERD ALERT: If you are a vacuum nerd (like me) and you are wondering why I didn't mention the fog filtration test in this video, but I did mention the particle test, it's because this is the first time I have had to do the particle test in a while. Generally, if a vacuum perfectly passes the fog test, I will not do the particle test because a perfect pass on the fog test means it will almost certainly pass the particle test as well. Sometimes though, like in this case, I noticed a teeny tiny bit of fog during the fog test, so a particle test was in order. As I said in the video, the HX1 perfectly passed the particle test, so we ended up in the same place. The point is, I don't like doing the particle test if I don't have to since it is so messy. The special dust I use has particles from 0 microns and up in it, so it is VERY fine and it basically ruins the vacuum unless you super deep clean it. So I avoid it when possible.
