Some members of the Facebook Midori Traveler's Resources group were asking about putting shoe polish on their Midoris. Here's my experiences.
Personally, I don't like it on my Midori. But obviously that depends on your opinion.
What I must say, is: do your research about anything you put on your leather items. Don't just use products without researching what they will do to your precise type of leather thoroughly. Only put shoe polish on if you are 100% sure you want that shiny, scratch/scuff-resistant, one colour, smooth leather. You won't be able to get it off again if you change your mind. Don't use it if you want your Midori to look used, scratched and scuffed, or if you still want that feeling that rougher, more raw effect that pull-up leather has.
