00:10 general info
04:15 sample slicing
the biggest addition in this update. you can now slice samples directly inside the OP–XY:
13:00 tap slicing – manual mode: tap keys to place slice points.
15:45 slice management – remove unwanted slices and re-pack your kit.
16:40 up to 24 slices – fills the entire keyboard from the selected key onward.
17:10 fine-tune start and end points for each slice.
17:45 works with any sample type: drums, loops, melodies, etc.
---
18:45 new LFO: side-chain ducker
a brand new LFO mode called 'duck' brings side-chain style pumping to your mix.
19:00 how it works – reacts to another track’s signal (via audio or MIDI notes).
21:20 adjustable amount, hold, and release for fine control.
23:15 any track can be the trigger source — even the metronome.
24:40 switch between MIDI and audio modes using the black encoder.
27:00 use a dedicated kick track for clean four-on-the-floor ducking.
28:10 metronome-based ducking for instant pumping effect.
29:15 future ideas – a second LFO per track is being considered.
---
30:40 sound link
lets you use the same sound settings across all patterns of a track.
31:00 concept – one sound shared by every pattern on the same track.
32:20 activation – controlled via the light gray encoder #3.
33:10 choose a master pattern – where the sound settings come from.
34:10 real-time control – tweak filters, envelopes, LFOs, etc., and keep them across pattern changes.
35:40 great for live sets and long arrangements.
36:20 shift activation – holding shift assigns the current pattern as the master pattern.
37:00 example use – quickly swap a kick or synth tone across all patterns at once.
---
39:20 delayed scene switch
now you can switch scenes at the end of the bar instead of instantly.
39:40 how to do it – press shift + play, then select a scene number to cue it.
40:10 behavior – the change happens on the downbeat of the next bar.
40:40 perfect for live performance when timing is critical.
---
42:15 parameter Locks for drum sampler
you can now set different parameter values per step.
42:30 pitch and start point can be customized per step.
43:00 play mode can differ on each step.
43:40 real-time automation recording is supported.
---
45:30 song mode improvements
45:40 adding scenes now requires holding shift.
46:00 prevents accidental scene switches during performance.
46:30 allows you to keep playing keys safely without interrupting playback.
