The Midnight Kiki was a local talk-show from public-access cable studio, MNN (Manhattan Neighborhood Network), hosted by Lady Winifred. Occasionally, I would come on to start off the show with Lady Winifred and chat about what was going on with me. One day, I decided to wear a pirate costume to show how underneath all the swashbuckling and "yo-ho" calls, pirates are just basically comedians, and I proved it with this improvised story.
