One of the first times playing around with the Midicake ARP... It has a ton of potential so I decided to run a camera while meddling with it just so you can get a mildly RAW experience of... this was I think my third time using it since I have taken it out of the box... It seems complicated at first but it is actually really intuitive... I feel it only takes a few minutes to get some interesting sounds out of it when paired properly with a DAW or MIDI instruments... This example probably isn't the best but at least enjoy the visuals as his took about 30 hours to create & render...
I need friends you say? I agree... But if I had any in real life then what would be the purpose of Artificial Intelligence making us all obsolete?
All jokes aside this is an amazing piece of machinery and this is a very mild example.... using it with the faux four voices that the Microfreak offers via paraphonic playback probably not a good decision... but I filmed and edited all of this madness so here it is... Better luck next time is slowly becoming my new mantra...
What is the Midicake ARP you ask?
it is a deterministic, Polyphonic, Multi-Channel Parametric Arpeggiator that syncs to incoming MIDI notes and chords to produce musical layers that can compliment your performance or even be used as the instrument when linked to midi devices and DAWs... Invented by Chris Brown, not Rihanna's ex, but a talented programmer and EDM enthusiast... I have so much more positive things to say about the ARP but I would rather just show you in more demonstrations as time passes...
