This video celebrate the winners of the first MIDI Lifetime Achievement Awards presented at the April 2023 NAMM show.
At Saturday's anniversary celebrations on April 15 on the Yamaha Grand Plaza Stage, lifetime achievement awards were presented to (or posthumously honored) legendary music industry innovators who created the modern music production environment of synths, drum machines, and sequencers, including Bob Moog, Don Buchla, Ikutaro Kakehashi, Tsutomu Katoh, Roger Linn, Tom Oberheim, Alan Pearlman, Dave Rossum, and Dave Smith.
