Since 2012 Runescapes Micro transactions have been getting heavier by the year. With the now removed "squeal of fortune" and its replacement "treasure hunter" being a massive contributor to Runescapes inflation, and most likely played a part and its declining player base. Some changes have been made to treasure hunter to lessen its impact but even more types of micro transactions are added yearly.
