This video is a comparison between the Xbox One and the Playstation 4. I am compiling a list at my website: allhow2s.com/xbox-one-vs-ps4-pros-cons-hardware-games-accesories/. As more information is known, I will update it (especially the list of games compatible with only one or the other system) so if you know any information that is not included, or different, leave a comment with the info and a source and I'll update it.
The PS4 and XBONE don't necessarily have their specifications finalized yet, but the info on the page will be updated to reflect any changes.
There are several differences between the Xbox One and the PS4, but first I'll start with the similarities. Both systems will require an online paid subscription to play games online (much like Xbox live is currently), where the PS4 version will be the currently available PS+. Also, both consoles will include a Blu-Ray player and DVD player. Also, both have a very similar processor, the AMD Jaguar, running at 1.6 GHz. This will decrease heat from the last generation, because the Xbox 360 had a processor running at 3.2 GHz (Higher GHz almost always cause an exponential increase in heat).
The similarities end there, especially in price, weight, size, and graphics card. The Xbone will be released at $499 dollars, while the PS4 will be released at $399, although the Xbone's price does include the Microsoft Kinect.
The graphics card, which is very important to the longevity of the console as well as the graphics quality, is about 50% faster on the PS4 than the Xbox One. While that's this doesn't necessarily mean that the graphics will be better on the PS4, because there are other factors to consider, it is a big advantage to the PS4. The PS4's GPU is rated at 1.84 TFLOPS, while the Xbox One is rated at 1.23 TFLOPS. Both of these are huge improvements over the 360 and PS3, where the Xbox 360 is rated at .24 TFLOPS, and the PS3 is rated at .4 TFLOPS.
The size of the PS4 vs Xbox One is also a big difference. The PS4 will be 275 x 53 x 305mm while the Xbox One (although it doesn't have exact specs) will be around 1.5 times that size. It seems it will be slightly larger than the Xbox 360. The size comparison can be seen in the links below.
The weight of the PS4 is supposed to be 2.8 kg (6.16 lbs) while the Xbox One's weight has yet to be released. Likely it will be slightly heavier, but size does not necessarily add weight, so it would be anyone's guess at this point until an actual figure is released.
