For applications that do not run natively on Arm, Windows utilizes the Prism translation layer. The unified memory architecture of the Nvidia RTX Spark chip provides up to 128GB of shared memory across the CPU and GPU. This shared memory pool allows the Blackwell GPU to load large AI models, supporting configurations of up to 120 billion parameters without the limits of discrete graphics card VRAM.

Microsoft also addresses the gaming ecosystem on Arm through compatibility updates. Anti-cheat support has been enabled for titles like League of Legends and Valorant from Riot Games, as well as Fortnite from Epic Games. The broader hardware ecosystem includes alternative Surface laptop models in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes alongside the Surface Laptop Ultra.
