Another Intel chip inspection. To reveal the 3D structure I simply applied pressure on the stage (i.e. I pressed it down with my finger) to move it along the Z-axis a few micrometres thus changing the focus a little bit. With this "focal scanning" I could look through the layered 3D structure of the microchip.
