I got myself a new microphone (Auna MIC-900B USB) for my Voice Overs in my videos. My old one was just a USB Headset. Its quality wasn't too bad, but compared to the new one it was a piece of shit. Because the new one also wasn't cheap I decided it should get a very nice stand. I only use standing on a table so it wasn't really hard to come up with a design. And I was able to use up some more nice wood scraps like cherry for the base piece.
