In this video we take a look at my progress on the Brown & Sharpe 618 Micromaster surface grinder. A major redirection on the flood coolant guards allowed me to make some excellent progress on getting the machine up and running. Material used for the panels is King Plastics Starboard. Aluminum extrusions are 80/20 brand. We check out some machining highlights and discuss some of the design considerations on the enclosure.
