Bebob has reorganized the internals of V-mount batteries and created the MICRO V-mount battery. It's a more densely packed V-mount battery - it doesn't really weigh any less, but it only takes up between one quarter to one half the space of competing brands batteries. It's also drop proof up to nearly 5 feet, has a USB port, and a twist D-tap slot. Smallest V-mounts I've ever dealt with.
