This is the electronics part of a 500 + watt micro hydro power system. First up is the rectifier. This converts the wild 3 phase AC to usable DC power. Then there is a breaker and charge controller. The charge controller sets the speed of the hydro pma to best charge the battery. The battery used in this install is a Lifepo4 51v battery. Combined it is over 30kwh of storage.

This EFG lifepo4 battery was working very well until I used a new inverter/charger that charged the battery at 62v. This is too high for a lifepo4 and burned up the BMS or battery maintenance system. EFG has sent a new BMS and I replace it to get this battery up and running again.
