The original titles to Mickey’s Good Deed (1932) opens with the first use of the small Mickey headshot (replacing “Exploding Mickey”) – and then snow gradually starts falling on the titles, matching the opening scene. This was the first Mickey to use the RCA sound system, and the special “Christmas” version of Mickey’s theme tune was only heard here. The opening fanfare is somewhat truncated, unfortunately, so it’s a little unclear whether this too is a unique version. Scanned from a 16mm Gevaert print of unknown date.
