Today, March 4th, 2026, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway at Disney's Hollywood Studios Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida celebrates its 6th Anniversary! Being Disney Imagineering's first 2.5D attraction, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway is a unique trackless attraction where guests, after goofily stepping through the movie screen, are launched into a chaotic, but funny adventure through the wacky world of Mickey and Minnie! Disconnecting from Conductor Goofy's Train, guests find themselves rummaging around the wild west, launched into the air from a carnival tornado, encountering a musical squid, and jumping into a dance lesson with Daisy Duck! Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway at Disney's Hollywood Studios is the first version of the attraction to open, with the second version opening a few years later at Disneyland Park in California. Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway replaced the fan favorite Great Movie Ride inside of the Disney's Chinese Theatre Replica.
