In this video I review the famous Michelson Morley experiment. Looking for evidence for luminiferous ether, this became what is known as the most famous null result experiment.
Although impossible to reconcile with the understanding of Physics at the time, it became fully understood in the context of Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity.
I use a couple of useful analogies to help you understand the experiment.
