Jan Rak, Ph.D. is a prominent nuclear and quantum physicist who earned his academic qualifications from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University (MFF UK) in Prague, followed by a CSc. degree (candidate of sciences) in Switzerland and a professorship at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland. He participated in research and experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva, completed a fellowship at the Max Planck Institute in Heidelberg and then at the National Laboratory Brookhaven in the USA.
