Michael Shermer discussed his book The Science of Good and Evil: Why People Cheat, Gossip, Care, Share, and Follow the Golden Rule, published by Henry Holt and Company. Mr. Shermer examined the sources of moral behavior and how it can be scientifically traced to the evolutionary origins of humans. After his presentation, Mr. Shermer answered questions from members of the audience.
