Professor of Physics Michael S. Feld '62, SM'63, PhD'67 teaches a class to MIT students on the physics of karate with live demonstrations, as part of his Introduction to Physics 8.01 class.

Prof. Feld dedicates his class demonstration to the memory of his former doctoral student Ronald E. McNair PhD ’77 from whom he learned karate and who died in the Challenger disaster.
