Bit of a random experiment kind of day...One of the updates on the Kiesel Z2 was that they added a 2nd output jack on the guitar. Now while it was intended for better access, and for sitting in different positions, I thought "What if I sent this to a bass amp?"
Turns out it works! This is still a rough experiment, but my thought was that this would make up for some of the lack of definition in the low end that happens with extended range running through a regular guitar cab.
1st Output - 2x12 cab mic'd with SM57
2nd Output - Bass amp sim in Logic, blended in.
Was this how it was intended to be used? Probably not. Is it interesting? Absolutely! Could this be a thing for me going forward? Not sure yet, but do let me know what you think!
