Seven marine mammals previously housed at Miami Seaquarium have been relocated to Dolphin Research Center (DRC) in the Florida Keys following the bankruptcy of Dolphin Company and the closure of Miami Seaquarium.
The seven individuals—who include dolphins and sea lions with age-related and medical care needs—have been given a permanent home at Dolphin Research Center, a nonprofit marine mammal care, education, and research facility located on Grassy Key in the Florida Keys.
