To find the PSG1 sniper rifle in Metal Gear Solid 2, play the story until you have the level 3 keycard, then visit the upper level of 'Warehouse' Strut F.
Visit the east-most room to find the PSG1 location inside. The PSG1-T location can be found in the same room by crawling through the vent.
The PSG1 is used to defuse distant bombs and take down faraway enemies. If you need to keep the sniper steady, use Pentazemin regularly.
