Since its fundation by Pianist and Pedagogue María Antonieta Lozano 40 years ago, CIEM has been an institution devoted to the formal education of Mexican talented students in the fields of Composition, Music Theory and Music Pedagogy; counting among its alumni with some of the most prominent professionals in the music scene in Mexico and abroad.
