After a long morning in the field, University of Michigan professors and graduate students gather to eat lunch - their main meal of the day. The researchers are studying biodiversity in a coffee-growing region in Mexico's southern Chiapas state, near the border with Guatemala. The faculty and students are affiliated with the School of Natural Resources and Environment as well as the department of ecology and evolutionary biology in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts.
