The Meuse and Argonne region is a picturesque area located in the northeast of France.

But this region also has a very dark past, the blood of lost souls flows through the veins of this region.
In 1916, two-thirds of the French army fought here against the Germans at the Battle of Verdun with heavy casualties on both sides. The French lost 227,000 lives.
In the summer of 1918, 1.2 million American soldiers fought the Germans here for 47 days, losing almost 120,000 lives in this short period.
Their sacrifice was not in vain, the Germans retreated and not much later the armistice was a fact.
