This is a tire review or ride report on my impressions of the Metzler Karoo 3 tires on the KTM 990 Adventure. I loved the tires on the street, very predictable, grippy, and you could lean the bike way over with confidence. If riding at a slow to moderate pace on fire roads, the tires perform reasonably well. I really did NOT like the tires in off road situations that included single track, sand, braking, and in deep ruts which consist of desert type riding. I didn't have access to mud, but this is not a tire that I would regularly use for more moderate to extreme riding, particularly at speed because of it's poor braking performance. I did not dare push it with this tire combination because of how loose they felt off road. PLEASE POST YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THESE TIRES FOR OTHERS TO BENEFIT. TERRAIN AND RIDING STYLES MAY VARY!!!
