Time comparison for a neat timesaving trick in Cataris.
Named after 5upamayne, who found the early magnet grab. 5upaboost makes this section a bit faster by allowing us to grab the magnet even earlier thanks to a damage boost.

Steps:
1 - Wait for the thermal hatch to open, jump and quick climb off the ledge.
2 - Kill the first enemy, closest to the ledge, and move to the left. It's best to kill it but it may not disrupt the trick if left alive. This is seen in the "Aim up first" time comparison clip.
3 - Kill the second enemy. This one HAS to be killed.
4 - Immediately after killing the second enemy, jump and air melee the last enemy. This air melee is usually very lenient.
5 - Head to the left, full jump and then do a full wall jump. Hold L and aim away from the wall as you wall jump.
6 - Let the enemy damage boost you.
7 - Don't release L immediately and aim to the left. Release L only when you're close to the wall to grab the magnet.
8 - Magnet jump, wall jump and you're at the top.
If you release L too soon after being damage boosted Samus will fall fast so be mindful of that. You can do everything in sequence without delays, making this trick very lenient. The wall jump is also quite lenient.
The longer you hold B after a wall jump the longer Samus is forced to move away from the wall. This mechanic is in place likely to prevent gaining height from single wall jumps. Normally, aiming up or down in mid air with free aim, or otherwise, will stop Samus horizontal movement. But if you do it during the forced wall jump momentum Samus won't stop - which is why the "Aim up first" clip works. I recommend trying this when you're comfortable with the regular setup of only aiming sideways.
