LAX/Metro Transit Center connects Metro’s C and K Lines directly to LAX via a free airport shuttle. The station will offer a faster, more convenient way to get to and from the airport—no traffic, no hassle.
‘The Distance of the Sun’ by Metro commissioned artist Glenn Kaino, consists of a series of vessels, both real and imagined, rafted together in increasing size to create a spiral pathway suspended in the air within the station. This work is a meditation on our collective ambitions and our shared hope.
