Here is a older video clip before the new cars and of course the new locomotives both trains are pulled by F40C locomotives the Eastbound # 2246 has a old Milwaukee cab car leading with a Leslie S2M horn, and the Westbound # 2239 has a very nice Nathan P5A. Trains are and still do whistle for the crossing at York Road in Bensenville. Tower B17 at 5:50PM on the old Milwaukee Line to Elgin. At the time this was filmed I worked the afternoon West Yard job at Bensenville for Candian Pacfic Rwy. And the Foreman on the job was the late Anthony "Tony" Johnson who was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure to work with, and while the job went on duty at 3:30 PM we never went to work until after all the line jobs that is to say Industry switchers had came back from the city and Tony would call me on the radio otherwise I was free to film until it was time to go to work. The we would work until about 9 or 10 PM and go home with 12 hours pay and all the work finished.Sadly in 2001 "Tony" was killed on this assignment after a freak accident occurred and he was run over by a set of freight car trucks. These videos are all dedicated in "Tony's" memory RIP Anthony, Johnson.
