The Population Estimates Program (PEP) develops the official estimates of population and housing units for the Census Bureau. Every year, PEP builds a time series of estimates that starts at the date of the most recent decennial census and extends through the vintage year, which represents the latest year of estimates available. We invite you to join us to learn more about the population estimates, and particularly, how the estimates methodology has been updated for the forthcoming Vintage 2024 estimates series.
