It's another weekend in nineteen-eighty something and you're trying every radio station hunting for or something, anything, more extreme than what's been on the radio all day. A brief burst of static is replaced buy a power saw! M-M-M-M METALSHOP is here!
Metalshop (one word), hosted by Charlie Kendall, was a syndicated radio program produced and pressed to vinyl, CD, or Reel and sent to over 80 stations across the US between 1984 and 1995. Radio stations would receive the disc and play it during scheduled slots. After the show aired, discs were often sent back or destroyed per the distributor. Few remain scattered throughout the world today.
I have many awesome memories in my youth listening to this program, MTV, and local rock stations during the "golden age" of metal. Chances are if you're reading this, you probably do too. Due to many positive comments and multiple requests for more uploads, I'm going to attempt to build a playlist of shows. I've left the advertisements intentionally because I think they are part of the experience. Please note some tracks have been removed before posting. This is necessary due to copyright claims that will not allow a video to be played if they are included.
