Metalshop (one word), hosted by Charlie Kendall, was a syndicated radio program produced and pressed to vinyl, CD, or Reel and sent to over 80 stations across the US between 1984 and 1995. Radio stations would receive the disc and play it during scheduled slots. After the show aired, discs were often sent back or destroyed per the distributor. Few remain scattered throughout the world today.
I have many awesome memories in my youth listening to this program, MTV, and local rock stations during the "golden age" of metal. Chances are if you're reading this, you probably do too.
