Level-8. No cheats used. Challenge is to carry a stationary Player 2 on top of the Slug Flyer and survive the boss fight with Dragon Nosuke.
While this is somewhat doable in MS2, in MSX it's a hell of a lot more difficult, since there's almost no lag to help you out *wink*, but also because the Metal Slug has a ridiculously long hit box when crouching, and it's simply impossible to play with it upright. Not to mention the boss' programming seems to have changed so that it spams those flaming helicopter things a lot more, which are very cheap since they have stupidly high amounts of HP, and they can stay on the screen for ages and trap you between them and the boss' other attacks.
