The Steam\PS5 versions of the game while not having most of the Bomberman minigame assets like the stages, they do still have the assets and code for the Bomberman bombs.
As you'd expect however, the bombs only partially work on the monkeys as they do have logic for getting hit by the bomb, but not for getting automatically captured.
