Today I Metal detecting in Laguna Beach again. After getting taunted by the group chat sending me pictures of gold nonstop. I decided I would try some of the beaches that they go to often and see what I could find. Unfortunately, the same pattern keeps repeating itself. I show up to the beach, I find next to nothing, and then later in the day I get pictures of all the big chunky gold that everyone found on the exact beach that I was just at. Am I going insane? Am I doing something wrong? Have I been cursed? I’m starting to feel like maybe Metal detecting just isn’t for me anymore. 😔 but all we can do is wipe away the tears and keep trying.
