"Trapezoidal profiles are suitable for various roof and facade applications depending on the profile type. With various profile geometries (height ranging from e.g. 35 mm to 200 mm) and material thicknesses (e.g. 0.4 mm – 1.50 mm) a large range of design options are possible. This video shows a 4-point-bending test of a single beam. The video starts with an overview of the test set-up. Parallel to the test progress the corresponding load-deformation curve of the trapezoidal profile is drawn and shows, that the ultimate limit state of the profile is determined by the plastic deformation. At the end, the observed profile deformations are presented from different perspectives."
