This is our first video back after the new Year break and will be packed with AR and VR news! First, we will talk about Meta removing one of my most used Quest features, which is casting to the TV via Chromecast. This is supposedly not supported anymore and is disappearing for a lot of people. After this, we will talk about the Quest 3 being the 4th on the SteamVR hardware list, as well as the Quest 2 remaining at it's lower price. I also have info for you on the Meta Quets app being number on the iOS app store during Christmas and the UEVR mod finally being out. This mod can make most Unreal Engine PCVR games work in VR. We also have info on a new Chipset being released by Qualcomm for the new Samsung XR headset, as well as of course Apple announcing their release date and a new headsetrap that will come in the box. At the end, we have the XReal Air 2 Ultra AR glasses that look like they might finally be coming close to being true everyday AR glasses for us to wear, but that is not without caveats.
