The following is the 10-minute summary of an Ariadna study completed by the Advanced Concepts Team of the European Space Agency in collaboration with the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) and the University of Perugia. This study focused on meta-heuristic algorithms for the quantum circuit compilation problem, with a special focus on applications in the space industry including satellite scheduling.
