My husband Matt and I along with our two boys have been living in our home for 2 years now and have finally just completed (after a bad building experience) all of the work required to bring our home up to builders standard. During the past 2 years we (ok ill admit it.. I) have accumulated a lot of "stuff" as the ultimate consumer, that as I have been packing and unpacking have realised we just don't need or have the space for anymore and need to move on with the plan to not repurchase.
In Episode 2 of my new MESSY TO MINIMAL series we are tackling my 6 year old son Samuels room. I'm sure most of you can relate to me when I say kids rooms are the worst for clutter! We are also giving his room a much needed makeover and if you've been around for a while you would know he LOVES lightning McQueen! I think this room came out so cute without being too over the top. let me know in the comments what you think of the colour of the desk :)
Every Monday I'm going to bring you an extreme decluttering video as I go around my house room by room to to declutter my house and get back to living a more minimalistic lifestyle. I hope you enjoy this new series and that it inspires you to look at what items you have been holding onto for too long in your home too and make the change to a more minimalistic lifestyle too.
