4 months ago YuKi came to me and asked if I wanted to collab with her. It was my first time but I was motivated and inspired by BaddyDans Ichiban no Takaramono cover to give my try on a collab. So I agreed. After my exams ended, I started arranging the piano part during early November.
There is not a lot of sheet music which is accurate to the original, so I made it my goal to make one so accurate that now I can confidently say that mine is probably the most accurate piano version on the internet now.
Arranging the piano part took weeks, even till the day I recorded, I still changed the arrangement a bit to make it more perfect than it was already. I listened to the original song on repeat for probably a thousand times before being able to get the arrangement so similar to original.
I was about to give up when Animenz told me that my arrangement was very accurate and said good job to me ;_; At that time, it wasnt very refined yet, and I knew I could not let him down, so I worked on it harder till it got to something I am quite satisfied with.
I was demoralised a lot when I heard how the Piano+vocals sounded like in our first draft cover. It wasnt very good. So I decided to make a drumtrack. After studying the drumtrack in the original, I decided to make something similar with my own style, without any drum knowledge at all.
Halfway as things seemed to be going smoothly, I realised YuKi couldnt audio mix and neither could I. I went to the first and probably only person I knew who could do this job well, Castlevaniapro93. He became a collab partner too and became the one in charge of playing the strings, which made this sound all the more awesome :D
After he mixed everything, I was surprised by how genuinely good it sounds even though it is only fanmade cover. I never expected the result to sound this good. This goes beyond what I had ever expected or planned, its almost like a full band cover already. Im very happy with it. A pity its only a TV size.

I want to specially thank BaddyDan89. He was the one who inspired me with his collab, then told me how to go about doing a collab (drums etc). He gave me good advice.
