Hey guys, I've seen this fishtail braid hairstyle on instragram, tumblr, and pinterest for sometime now and I thought I'd recreate here on my channel. Some people call this the messy split fishtail braid or the double fishtail braid (depending on the technique they used) but I call this the mermaid braid because I used the same technique as the mermaid tail braid tutorial which you can watch here: youtu.be/8xZWRwfib7U Basically, I merged two fishtail braids together with a few bobby pins.
