Route Details: outdooractive.com/en/r/340912900
Starting from Merlin’s Bridge Community Hall, this almost circular walk takes you through a peaceful mix of quiet country lanes, woodland, riverside paths, and beautiful National Park scenery.
The route heads towards Little Milford Woods, where you enter the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority landscape and begin to experience a more tranquil, nature-connected section of the walk. From there, the trail continues alongside the River Cleddau, offering lovely waterside views before passing the historic local church on the return section.
Please note: during our walk, slurry had been tipped near one section of the route, making access through a gate impossible and forcing us to carefully climb over the gate to continue. Conditions may improve over time, but care should be taken and suitable footwear is recommended, particularly after wet weather.
This route forms part of the ongoing development work for Eileen’s Digital Pathways / Llwybrau Digidol Eileen’s, helping us test and share local walking routes as part of our wider community digital inclusion and nature connection project.
