Merlin has always been passionate about business but after making some bad decisions, she was arrested and released on bail. During this time, she lost the business, her marriage broke down, and she struggled with anxiety and depression. When she hit rock bottom, she thought that taking her life was the only way out but it was then that God spoke to her and changed everything.
During her time in prison, God used Merlin in amazing ways and it was there that she met Jo from The Message's prison team. Merlin said, 'The Message Trust found me when I was in my darkest place. They've given me another chance and helped me achieve things I never thought I'd achieve.'
