I'd say I hope you have fun today but that would be hypocritical considering the collab earlier and the fact I'm dropping a 4:50 min long mergana video to the most angsty song I could think of. SORRY NOT SORRY?
I hope you're not tired of my 3 year old tradition to always drop a Merlin related video on your birthday, God knows I thrive this time of the year haha. Jokes aside now, I wish you success and happiness in your future (and present) endeavours, I say this every year but truly you are a friend that I've come to rely on over the years of our bickering, and I hope that won't change any time soon (or ever). Happy birthday Zoellick, I love you! Hope you enjoy this!
Everyone else: I hope you enjoy this too. I've been meaning to vid Merlin/Morgana to this song for quite a while now, because in my opinion, there's only a few others that can nail what they were about quite as much as this one.
'Unspoken' is truly the recurring theme of their relationship. So much left unsaid by both of them...it's quite disheartening to know that, even in the very end, they never knew the whole truth about each other. They were just like puppets, blindly manipulated by their respective puppeteers, pit against each other when they could have been such a great duo, if only they ever /talked/.
For me it's specially depressing when it says "and if it's set in motion
I'll watch it all pass by", because honestly, wasn't this exactly what Merlin did? Just watch as Morgana sunk into darkness and despair?
"And leave the rest unspoken, I'll never change my mind", DO I EVEN HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS ONE RIGHT HERE? Gosh!
It's 2017 and these two still haunt me. Things could have been so different....SIGH.
