Fiordland is one of the most stunning places in New Zealand, but it can be a bit off the beaten track for many Kiwis. Enter the Meridian Hydro Half Marathon where hundreds ran the Fiordland Trails, enjoying the fresh surroundings, friendly volunteers and just a REALLY good run. While the next Hydro Half won’t be til 2021, you can still pop down and check out the trails. There’s plenty to see (and not just some awesome renewable energy)
