Scandinavian Doom Metal from Sölvesborg, Sweden. From 1989 "King Doom"
Formed in 1980.
They recorded two demos, in 1981 and 1983. In 1982 they released the "Swedish Metal" EP.
From 1986 until 2003 followed six studio albums, some of them with overlapping song lists and a single in 1985.
The band is known for their works sung by Eddie "Messiah" Marcolin (Candlemass, Ex-Candlemass, Candlemass, Ex- Candlemass, Candle...on Mercy´s first two studio LPs- this LP was sung by his follow-up,Rick Wine), but Mercy are the child of Andrija Veljaca aka Witchking, who sadly passed away in 2005. His death meant the end of Mercy- RIP.
