Bill Stevens is a farmer from Somerset, whos wife, Anna Stevens, committed adultery with Chuckles the travelling Clown. After this, Bill is set on a murderous rampage where he kills anyone that wrongs him with an end goal of finding Chuckles in Eastbourne (a washed down sea side holiday town) and getting his sweet revenge once and for all.
During Bills search, he comes across a student film crew that have been set the project of making a documentary. Due to Bills individual appearance, they are drawn to him and begin learning about his past life and goals.
Noticing missing residence in Eastbourne, PC Treadwell is homing in on Bills actions to stop him from killing again. PC Treadwell battles against disbelief as the rest of the police department conclude that the missing people are all strange coincidences, will PC Treadwell stop Bill before he finds Chuckles? Or will Bill have another body to dig a hole for?
Digging a Hole is a short film made a year ago and has been touring film festivals around the UK until now!

Tearaway won Best Cinematography at the NaSTA (National Student Television Association), 2nd April 2016.
Tearaway won best short film 16-19 years at the international Brighton Youth Film Festival, 19th September 2015.

The My RODE Reel competition is where contestants have to make a 3 minute short film along with a 3 minute BTS video, both of which will be uploaded to this and UniTVs channel in the coming week!

About the film:
Hannah Stanfields imagination distracts her from running, imagining a world made of paper.
Hannah has gotten a new coach, Jack Wilmot, replacing Jenny Murdoch who has now retired. Jack does not work with Hannahs imagination, unlike Jenny who used Hannahs imagination to help her sprint at her fastest.
We join Hannah and Jack the day before the races qualifying young runners for nationals, Jack and Hannah are both losing their patience with one another, leaving tensions high for tomorrows race.
Tearaway is a student made short film, gathering over 30 students from three different societies, University of Sussex and Sussex Downs College together to learn techniques and create a short film all around deadline dates.
The past few months have been manic, but amazingly everything has seemed to come together!
