Live view inside a beaver lodge using an infrared camera. Located on Steep Creek at the US Forest Service Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center in Juneau, Alaska. Beavers are nocturnal and do most of their sleeping, eating, and grooming during the day from the cozy confines of their den. Currently we have a pair of adults with two kits (young) that were born this spring. These beavers are wild and often occupy other chambers within the lodge so if you don’t see them during Alaska daytime hours, keep checking!
