Before there was George Floyd or Breonna Taylor, nationwide protests and racial reckoning, there was Ahmaud Arbery. A 25-year-old man, shot to death, his family says, while jogging less than two miles from his home. He was chased down by three men in pickup trucks: Former police officer Gregory McMichael, his son Travis McMichael and their neighbor William Bryan. They say Arbery, who was unarmed, had committed a crime in their neighborhood. The moment became a flashpoint in American history, but after a dramatic 911 call, a viral video of the chase & shooting, and police bodycam footage, why did it take 75 days to make an arrest?

The trial of the McMichaels and William "Rodie" Bryan is scheduled to begin this week, and the HLN television network will carry gavel-to-gavel coverage LIVE, every day court is in session.
